Started as Research Professor of Political Science (Hoofddocent) at the University of Antwerp, heading the ERC DEMO-LIES project team.

Participated in a panel discussion on party credibility at the Montesquieu Instituut / DNPP / EMMA event in The Hague, with Mariken van der Velden, Léonie de Jonge, Sheila Sitalsing, and Leendert Beekman.

ERC Starting Grant: DEMO-LIES

Awarded a €1.5 million ERC Starting Grant for the DEMO-LIES project: "Deception in Democracy: Political Lying Accusations and Their Effects on Democratic Citizenship" (2025–2030).
